MY KITCHEN

"........WELCOME TO MY KITCHEN......!"

whoaaaaa...at this 'tender' age of twenty four (ke fourty-two??) i can finally say that ....??!!!
(*pinching nose and still thinks she's dreaming*)

or should i rephrase that...ehemm..hemmm....

"ALHAMDULILLAH......I am now the ruler of this kingdom called ....KITCHENVILLE!"

(inilah penangan farmville...he he heeee....jangan mare...i'm just happy to be blogging again...:)



where do i begin? i have about 1000 photos to share so i might as well start somewhere ....procrastination has been my best friend these past few months ....so here goes nothing......ENJOY!



view from dining area. kitchen area sized at 10ft x 17 ft long....with door openings at both ends. the sliding door on the right opens out to the outdoor dining terrace (seaview) and the door on the left end opens out to the rear kitchen terrace(zooview ...neighbour has a mini zoo..he3) . i have no window in front of the sink coz i need the whole 17 ft wall for storage cabinets ,below and upper.


i love this sink..!

deep double bowl with built-in knife holder and a small garbage bin compartment with cover...here's where i hide my sponge :) diswashing liquid (and other cleaning gadgets ) ada kat dlm kabinet bawah sink tu.....




cooker hob and hood....yang murah saja....:)

black tempered glass panel at hood / hob area... RM300

Wall filled with brown tone glass mosaic... and designer switch & power point casing.....for aesthetics value of course ...part ni mmg splurge sikit :)

the white counter top is called "solid surface" and comes in various colors and designs...nanti lah akak cerita the construction bit of this kitchen in another post...

i only have a 7ft long space on the opposite wall where i'm able to have a ceiling height cabinet...kat sinilah sumbat peti ais (yg biasa je, bukan side by side)....microwave and oven...behind the frosted glass door at far right is my food pantry .....bawah oven boleh letak all baking tools....kat atas tu bulehla simpan apa2 yang patut.....:)

the frosted glass bottom cabinet is where the pinggan mangkuk drying racks are .....lepas basuh, simpan dlm tu..........x berserabut tepi sink.

drawer atas frosted glass tu is my laci sudu ...

pintu (wood laminate) bawah kanan tu is where I put my toolbox..hammer, drill etc

top cabinets for mugs, plates etc....(tak banyak pinggan magkuk!)

tepi tu tinggal sikit la utk shelves for decor items....kannn



view from outside .....bila malam lampu gantung yang 3 biji tu nampak banyak due to the reflective glass door panels.....such a nice surprise!


best of all...standing at the kitchen door we are blessed with this oceanview....subhanallah!
